Psychic Surgery

Paranormal happenings exists since ancient times. Nowadays, people are very skeptical in what concerns this domain and in anything else they do not understand. We are kept in secret even if there are really strange things going on. Psychics are lets say a part of this area. Psychics are people born with special abilities such as : being able to see each ones personal future and the future in general, communicate with spirits and ghosts, seeing thing that are not available for the rest of us, communicating through telepathy, mind reading, some were known to levitate, others to move things around by just touching them or with the power of their mind, etc. Today, there are many psychics in the world, some known and famous, others prefer to keep their identity secret.

The majority doesn't believe in psychic powers, especially in their predictions or in their  affirmations. Because there were so many who came with predictions that never came through , people prefer to not pay any attention to them anymore. Psychics say they can help people by curing them from different diseases. There are a few people in the entire world who are known to cure different disease just by touching people. This might seem a little bit off, and more of a science fiction movie, but what if they can really do this? People who go through difficult moments in their life and lose hope , go as a last resort to these psychic healers, in hope of a miracle. Some stories say that there were actual people who couldn't walk or had a bad problem at their legs, who later on after going to a psychic healer or made a Psychic Surgery , got better.

Psychic Surgery is  a procedure, psychics use, to heal people. It involves the apparent creation of a cut, the apparent removal of the " problem" and healing of the apparent incision. It's a very weird and confusing process, that many find a joke. Psychic Surgery has been controversial since it first started. Many have condemned this process as being a total fraud.  Scientists and doctors say it's just a trick, a visual trick , it makes people believe in something that doesn't exist. Psychics who practice this are seen as people with a lot of influence and mind power, that can manipulate people into actually believing they are better, that they feel better.

This phenomenon appear first in the spiritualist community of Philippines and Brasil. The procedure is done mainly the same everywhere. This practice is known to exists in every country of this world. Usually the practitioner uses his fingers to feel the sick persons body. Some other practitioners make live incisions, using fake blood of animals, and animal tissue to make it real. This practice has become a very popular one among television psychics. People are very curious but still not convinced. Psychic predictions and appearances might be more believable, but psychic surgery is actually SF. A human being cannot cure another person by just a touch. There are people with powerful gifts but not this powerful.
