We have seen a lot of movies and a lot of shows that present these things. Psychic powers are a common subject and can be really terrifying if the movie portraits the subject in a certain matter. Besides psychics we can also encounter fortune tellers and palm readers, tarot readers etc. These small town frauds are just people who pretend to see things in crystal globes, or see the future in card or in the life line on your hand. There is a certain logic also in the reading of your hand but i don't think , that a palm reader dressed in a gypsy could tell you.
