The Bible and Psychics

There has always been a quiet war between the Church and the psychics. They have two different opinions that divide people into two categories. Those who believe in the Bible and those who don`t. Nowadays, nobody really knows for sure in what to believe anymore. Some Christians have lost their way. They believe in God but they also believe in ghosts and spirits and aliens. Because there are so many facts that these other things exist, the idea of God seems to fade way. People need proof because they will believe only the things they see. Well, believing in God doesn`t have to be conditioned by showing some proof. Believing and having faith is enough to be protected.

There are many people that go to church weekly, pray and go to ceremonies but do bad things and sin just to go back and pray for forgiveness and there are people who just believe in God. They don`t have to come daily to the church to show their gratitude they know deep inside that God exists and He will help them. Psychics on the other hand are people that have a weird gift. They can see the future and they can connect and communicate with the world of spirits. Many priests say this is a bad thing and it`s not normal. In  a way it`s not normal to see the future. There are some things in this life that should not be discovered. We humans are very curious and our curiosity has made us suffer for so many times. What is the point of finding out your future ? many people initially want to know what is going to happen in a few years and then they regret ever going. This is because it`s not right to know the future, it makes life lose it`s mystery and lose from it`s spontaneity.

The bible and psychics don`t get along at all. The Bible strongly condemns spiritism, mediums, psychics. Horoscopes, fortune tellers, tarot cards, palm readings, coffee reading etc. All these practices  are based on the idea that there are gods, spirits, or deceased loved ones that can give you advice and guidance. But according to the Bible these spirits are demons. If they aren`t in Heaven or besides God then they are sinners and they belong in hell so spirits are not good spirits. The entire idea of psychic reading is also doubted because there are many frauds. They can easily get their information from the telephone book but there is also the case when they really know some things they couldn`t possibly have known. It`s a mystery and not even the Church has an answer for their gift. In the end people should believe in anything they want to. There is no point in forcing someone to believe in a certain thing. In the end we are all going to be judged by God.
